Understanding Nuclear Justice for the Pacific: Expert Insights

In 2023, APLN commissioned three special reports from experts based in the Pacific Islands as part of the project on Nuclear Disarmament and the Anthropocene: Voices from Pacific Island Countries. These reports highlight the inequities and injustices of past and present nuclear weapons policies and practices that exacerbate existential risks in the region.

In this video, the three experts—Maima Koro (University of Adelaide), Patrick Kaiku (University of Papua New Guinea), and Milla Vaha (University of the South Pacific)—offer valuable insights on a common theme that resonates throughout their work: nuclear justice for the Pacific.
