Hree P. Samudra is a Policy Fellow at the Asia-Pacific Leadership Network (APLN), where her work focuses on nuclear governance, verification architectures, and regional security dynamics across the Indo-Pacific. Her current work spans AI-NC3 governance, NPT Review Conference strategy, and nuclear risk reduction between P5 and non-nuclear-weapon states, with a focus on Global South perspectives often underrepresented in the nuclear order. She recently completed a Research Fellowship at the CTBTO, examining how OSINT, machine learning, and commercial satellite imagery can strengthen multilateral verification while managing equity and legitimacy risks. Hree is also an NPT Futures Policy Cycle member at BASIC, Asia-Pacific Regional Coordinator for Youth for TPNW, and a Non-Resident Fellow at the University of Glasgow's Atomic Anxiety in the New Nuclear Age programme. She previously led Women, Peace and Security programming across 15 countries in Asia and the Pacific at the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP).
