Dr. Aparaajita Pandey is an accomplished energy strategist and a scholar whose work bridges the domains of geopolitics, Latin American studies, and global energy governance. With a Ph.D. in Energy Statecraft from Jawaharlal Nehru University, her research examines the complex intersections of energy security, sustainable development, and regional integration, with a particular emphasis on Latin America and the Caribbean. She is presently associated with Amity Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies, Amity University as an Assistant Professor. 

Over the course of her academic career, Dr. Pandey has contributed to deepening scholarly and policy dialogues on South–South cooperation, India's evolving engagement with Latin America, and the role of emerging economies in reshaping global energy governance. As a professor of geopolitics and strategy, she has designed and taught interdisciplinary courses that explore statecraft, energy transitions, and comparative public policy. Her expertise is sought in policy consulting, where she advises on strategic frameworks linking energy diplomacy to broader geopolitical trends. 

Dr. Pandey’s work is marked by her commitment to translating complex academic insights into actionable policy recommendations, particularly at the nexus of energy, geopolitics, and security studies. She explores how global shifts in energy markets reshape strategic alignments, influence regional security architectures, and impact sustainable development pathways. Through her writing, lectures, and policy engagement, she continues to advance understanding of Latin America’s strategic importance in the global energy landscape and its broader implications for India’s foreign policy, economic interests, and security strategy.
