Zhu Junwei was the Director of the Center for American Studies, Grandview Institution. Previously, she had served in the PLA for almost 20 years. After graduation from the PLA University of Foreign Languages with a master’s degree in military science and a bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature, she worked as an analyst in the former Department of General Staff and later in the Strategic Support Force.
